Integrative Person-Centred Therapy

Integrative therapy brings together different therapeutic approaches, so the support you receive is shaped around your unique needs. I will draw on a range of tools and techniques and work with you to build new skills to help you get to where you need to be. This takes place with the core principles of person-centred therapy at its heart. For you, this means you experience the warmth, empathy, and choice of Person-Centred Therapy, with the added flexibility of approaches that can deepen insight, offer new perspectives, or help you explore things in different ways when you’re ready.

Person-centred therapy is a gentle, supportive approach that focuses on you; your thoughts, feelings and experiences. Instead of giving advice or telling you what to do, your therapist offers warmth, understanding and a safe, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly. This supportive environment helps you explore what’s going on inside, make sense of your feelings, and gradually discover your own answers and way forward.

What person-centred therapy feels like:

  • You set the pace: You choose what feels important to talk about, and there’s no pressure to go anywhere before you're ready.

  • You feel truly listened to:  I’ll be paying close attention, without judgment or interruption.

  • Your feelings are welcome: All feelings are welcome here. Whatever you bring, big or small, is met with empathy and acceptance.

  • You gain clarity: Talking in a safe space helps you understand yourself more deeply and make sense of your emotions.

  • You discover your own direction: I will never tell you what to do. I trust you to find your own answers, strengths and next steps.

Solution-Focussed Therapy

Solution-focused therapy focuses on a single issue and helps you work towards a specific goal, often within a set time limit. Solution-Focused Therapy works by helping you notice your strengths, resources and the small steps that can move you toward the changes you want. Instead of focusing only on the problem, we explore what’s already working, times you’ve coped, and what life might look like if things improved even slightly. For complex issues or when multiple challenges exist, it can be used alongside person-centred therapy. In this case, the therapy stays more gentle and continues at your pace. It still offers hopeful, practical steps forward, with the added benefit of giving you space to explore your feelings and be fully heard.

Rewind Trauma Therapy

Rewind Trauma Therapy is a calm, structured technique that helps reduce the emotional intensity of traumatic memories without needing to go into detail or re-tell the story. It works by allowing your brain to “re-file” the memory so it feels less overwhelming and intrusive. This can be combined with person-centred therapy, but is often a stand-alone therapy.
