Paper documents are always converted into digital files and shredded.
Electronic files are password-protected and encrypted
Data keys are password-protected and stored in a locked box.
Communications are handled with care
Records are kept for 7 years in accordance with professional practice/insurance requirements, then securely destroyed.
Confidentiality
Everything you share is private.
I only share information:
With your permission
If legally required
If there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others
During professional supervision (no identifying details)
Whenever possible, I will always speak with you first.
